Photograph of a painting in the basement of the Fine Arts building. The “Barrett” is a small steamboat, seen afloat on the river, with several figures on board. Caption of the painting “River navigation started 1834. Ended after 1858. The advent of R.R. competition it's death-blow. The Barrett was the last of a series of forty."
