Morris photograph collection

Murch S. Morris (1880-1963) was a photographer for the Grand Rapids Herald. This collection contains over 400 photographs of Grand Rapids, believed to have been compiled by Morris. The images date primarily from 1924 to 1931 and concentrate on churches, streetcars, veterans, Veterans Park, the 1928 state gubernatorial campaign, the Grand Rapids Centennial celebration, the flood of 1926, and fires in the Grand Rapids area.
