Photographs from the Furniture Manufacturers Association

The Furniture Manufacturers Association (FMA) was a furniture industry advocacy group in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This collection includes photographs of Grand Rapids furniture factories, including interior views showing men and women working. There are also several photographs of the Grand Rapids Airplane Company, which was formed by several furniture manufacturers to produce airplane parts during World War I.
